M8, as Aito's flagship model launched this year, has garnered significant market attention since its release. How does the new car perform in terms of driving experience, and what are the current discount offers?
Upon arriving at the experience center, I contacted the salesperson I had communicated with in advance. After a brief wait, he handed me a bottle of mineral water and gave a general introduction to the car. After understanding the configuration details, I expressed my desire to test drive the vehicle. The salesperson informed me that the air conditioning of the test car had already been turned on, and that I could start the test drive once the cabin temperature had dropped. He then quickly processed the test drive procedures.
After getting into the car, the salesperson first gave a general introduction to the basic operations of the new energy vehicle, and then provided a more detailed explanation of the highlight configurations. Upon learning that I was particularly interested in the intelligent driving assistance functions, the salesperson carefully explained the hardware configuration and cruising scenarios of M8's intelligent driving assistance, and even demonstrated the vehicle's performance in different situations. After the test drive, back at the store, I requested a quote. The salesperson used a calculator to compute the vehicle's on-road price and monthly installment payments.

The Aito M8 is equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel, a 15.6-inch center console screen, a 16-inch co-pilot screen, and an AR-HUD head-up display across the entire series. It is powered by the HarmonyOS 4 vehicle system, which allows seamless multi-screen interaction through a three-finger swipe. In actual experience, the in-car system responds quickly, with virtually no delay when launching navigation, music, and other applications, and no noticeable lag or sluggishness. The vehicle also has strong voice interaction capabilities, supporting commands such as adjusting windows, air conditioning, playing music, and opening/closing doors. The system can execute multiple consecutive commands accurately without omission.

The M8 is equipped with Huawei's full-stack self-developed intelligent driving assistance solution. Once the cruise function is activated, the vehicle automatically selects the most efficient lane based on road conditions, overtakes decisively, and can accurately identify obstacles and smoothly bypass them. When pedestrians are detected, the vehicle will decelerate in advance and actively bypass them if there is sufficient lateral space. It is worth mentioning that during the test drive, the salesperson clearly stated that, for safety reasons, the intelligent driving assistance function could only be demonstrated by him, and the steering wheel must be held throughout the use of the function. Customers can activate this function after learning and passing an exam upon delivery of the vehicle.

After activating the intelligent parking assistance function, the vehicle can quickly identify parking spaces and supports automatic parking in perpendicular and parallel spots. When encountering narrow parking spaces, the vehicle can automatically fold the side mirrors and correct the trajectory through multi-angle maneuvering. With the support of dual motors, the vehicle's power response is swift and free of noticeable delay, performing confidently in urban lane changes, overtaking, and highway acceleration. The pushback during overtaking is strong, with no sense of power loss in the later stages. When the brake pedal is pressed, the braking force is evenly transmitted, and with the addition of the comfort braking function, there is no nodding phenomenon.
The vehicle's interior quietness is outstanding. The noise control inside the cabin is excellent during low-speed driving, with almost no noticeable tire or wind noise, and even at high speeds, it remains within an acceptable range. The vehicle is equipped with a steering assist mode across the entire series, offering three options: comfort, standard, and sport. The steering feel is very direct, allowing the driver to quickly adapt and respond correctly. The small turning radius significantly enhances the vehicle's flexibility and convenience when making U-turns.

The Aito M8 features a double-wishbone front independent suspension and a five-link rear independent suspension. It is equipped with a closed double-chamber air suspension and a continuously variable damping shock absorber across the entire series. The suspension system effectively absorbs impacts from manhole covers and speed bumps, with a high filtering efficiency. Additionally, this suspension system provides ample lateral support, keeping the vehicle's posture stable and minimizing body roll.
