On July 17, 2025, we obtained the official images of the Wuling Xingguang 560 from relevant sources. This vehicle features a rugged and off-road appearance, and it is available in three powertrain versions: gasoline, plug-in hybrid, and pure electric. The interior offers a choice between 5-seat and 7-seat configurations. It is reported that the new model will officially go on sale in the fourth quarter of this year.

In terms of appearance, the vehicle adopts a brand-new front fascia design, with split headlights arranged in parallel, which are highly recognizable when illuminated. The large black grille has a strong visual impact. The gasoline and plug-in hybrid versions feature a through-type black mesh grille with decorative elements, while the pure electric version has a closed design. Looking at the dimensions, the Wuling Xingguang 560 has a length, width, and height of 4745/1850/1755 (1770) mm, with a wheelbase of 2810 mm, targeting the mainstream segment of the market.
On the side, the body design of the Xingguang 560 is not complicated, but it enhances its sense of fashion with many black components and a decorative strip on the D-pillar. It also offers a dual-color body option. The roof is equipped with roof rails, which enrich the vehicle's usage scenarios. The overall design style shares similarities with some classic traditional gasoline vehicles.
The vehicle is available in three versions. The gasoline version weighs 1960/2170 kg, with a top speed of 180 km/h; the plug-in hybrid version weighs 2130/2340 kg, with a top speed of 170 km/h; the pure electric version weighs 2090/2310 kg, with a top speed of 160 km/h. The plug-in hybrid version uses the same power system as the Wuling Xingguang, featuring an LBG 1.5L naturally aspirated engine with a maximum power of 78 kW. The specific data of the electric motor has not yet been announced. The pure electric version currently declared is equipped with a 100 kW single motor. Both the plug-in hybrid and pure electric versions use lithium iron phosphate batteries.

The "Hongguang Xian" concept car, with its red and black color scheme, was the first concept car under Wuling's global silver logo and attracted a lot of attention at the auto show.
